Welcome to the Dragon Tag Programming Club.  We are convinced that learning to program is the best way for you to become ready for the best-paying, most challenging, and most rewarding jobs of the future. The reality is that schools, at least in the near future, are not well equipped to help you get ready.  It is up to you (with the help of your parents) to do the work afterschool, during summers, even weekends. You won’t regret it. Each step on the path you take gets you in shape to be an extraordinary contributor to a future that will be bright for those who learn to code!

When you enter the club, we will help you get started with Code.org.  Your first quest will be to complete Courses one and two of Computer Science Fundamentals on Code.org.

When you have completed course two, we invite you to explore the first step in a new journey.  Before you choose your path, consider where you want to eventually go! We have set out several options and encourage you to be courageous and work hard.

+ Game Design
+ Mobile App Design
+ Front End Web Developer
+ Back End Web Developer
+ Robotics
+ Cyber Security
+ Data Analytics and Supercomputing

We will meet at 2:50 to 4:00 pm on alternate Mondays of each month in the Media Lab beginning October 22.  A reminder will be sent home using Remind.
