Kadie dreamed of fundraising to bring something fun to our school. She partnered this year with Brian and Owen and found an exceptional mentor with Sandy Curry from the Beaver County Youth Entrepreneurship program. They have collaborated with our art department, the 4th-grade math enrichment class, and with several different research fellows from the media lab to prepare a wide variety of attractive and interesting products for you to wear or use.

Profits go toward bringing Dream Flight Adventures to our school. This incredible simulator in a classroom enables groups of students to step anywhere in time and space and interact with events from history or projected into the future. A mission control screen directs small groups as they try to evade the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius with modern scientific tools, explore with Creative Canvas space, oceans, and circulatory systems, become immersed in the pandemic of the Spanish Conquistadors and the Aztec Civilization while learning anatomy, physiology, immune, circulatory, and lymphatic systems, viruses and viral reproduction, and the scientific method.
