Tuesday 2:50-4:00

Open to 6th grade

The Future City Competition Team is open to any 6th grade student at Baden Academy. We will meet weekly in preparation to compete on Saturday, January 20th against teams around the region at the Carnegie Music Hall.  We will learn engineering concepts as we try to design sustainable and meaningful public spaces in a future city.  We need to do research then design our solutions in the virtual SIM City and build our solutions in a real model out of recycled materials. We will meet through 2:50 to 4:00 the every Tuesday in the Media Lab beginning October 3rd.

The afterschool club for Grade 6 will meet every first and Third Tuesday after school from 2:50 to 4:00 pm.  Parents need to be on hand at 4:00 pm for pickup (late comers receive a warning and two warnings bring dismissal from the club meetings).

The remind system will be used to communicate events.
