Baden Academy Afterschool Chess Club
Thursdays 2:50-4:00
Limited to 32 participants- sign up now!
Participants in the Baden Academy after school Chess Club will meet weekly to hone our skills, work independently on Chesscademy.com, and play at every opportunity during recess and with friends. We will pursue United States Chess Federation sanctioned tournaments. No chess experience is needed. Beginners are encouraged to sign up for club meetings or start learning at home with their own free Chesscademy.com account.
The afterschool club for Grades 4-6 will meet every Thursday after school from 2:50 to 4:00 pm. Parents need to be on hand at 4:00 pm for pickup (late comers receive a warning and two warnings bring dismissal from the club meetings).
Membership is limited to 32 total students. There will be a waiting list. You will lose your spot in the afterschool club if you miss two practices or with one behavioral problem.
The remind system will be used to communicate sign ups for tournaments and events.
