The Baden Academy Future Engineers Club has printed and assembled a prosthetic hand for a child served by Enabling the Future.
They began two years ago by learning about the children around the world who have an amputated hand and the work of a global network Enabling the Future to use 3D printers to make and provide free prosthetics to these children.
They had to understand the designs they looked through to determine what the Ultimaker 2+ 3D printers in the lab could handle. They chose the Phoenix hand to build, and decided to build a left hand.
