Kids Hearts visits Children’s Hospital

Amaya and Kat from Kids Hearts had the amazing opportunity to meet Dr. Zitelli at Children’s Hospital. They are excited to start their first book!

Dr. Basil Zitelli talks to Amaya Haeggans and Katerynia Benkowski about the great work in children's heart surgy being done at their hospital.

This project was begun as a Grow a Generation Research Fellowship Program at Baden Academy Charter School.  Baden Academy, a public charter school in Western PA, works to inspire personal excellence. They cultivate the inherent gifts and talents present in all children by providing a curriculum that integrates the arts and sciences in a highly interactive, hands-on environment.
