The Future Engineers club will be preparing to take part in the next Future Engineers competition. We will learn about Computer Animated Design (CAD) software using the online software TinkerCAD. We will also be learning about the International Space Station and their 3D printers.  Our task will be to solve a particular problem the astronauts are facing by designing an object that can be printed on the space station. We are also 3D printing a prosthetic limb for a child in need. The club is limited to 18 students in grades 3-6.

We will meet the alternating Tuesdays each month from 2:45 to 4:00 pm in the Media Lab beginning October 2.  A reminder will be sent home two days before with instructions to sign up or send in a permission form using REMIND.  Please sign up to receive your reminder by going to remind.com/join/futeng

Parents need to be on hand at 4:00 pm for pickup at the rear gym exit  (latecomers receive a warning; two warnings bring dismissal from the club meetings).

The remind system will be used to communicate news and events.
